Description
Chinese Tallow, also known as Triadica sebifera, is a deciduous tree native to East Asia that has become widespread in the southeastern United States. Known for its quick growth and heart-shaped leaves, it produces small white flowers that give way to seeds encased in black, bean-like pods. Despite its ornamental value and use in traditional medicine, the tree is considered an invasive species in many regions due to its ability to displace native flora.
